D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP, a leading public accounting Firm in upstate New York, announces that Tricia L. Lucas, CPA, CGMA (an Audit Partner) has been named Managing Partner effective January 1, 2023. Mrs. Lucas will be the first female managing partner in the 70-year history of the Firm. D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP has offices in Utica, Rome, Oneida and Syracuse.
Mrs. Lucas is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She has been with the Firm since 1996 and has over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry. Mrs. Lucas provides audit and accounting services for a wide variety of clients. She has extensive audit knowledge of Employee Benefit Plans, Nonprofit Organizations, Governmental Organizations, School Districts, and Telecommunications Companies.
Along with being a New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Mrs. Lucas is also a past Board Member of the Utica Chapter of NYSSCPA, a chairwoman of the Firm’s Quality Control Committee, the Firm’s designated partner for the Government Audit Quality Center, and a member of the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.
In her role as Managing Partner, Mrs. Lucas is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Firm. Responsibilities include providing guidance and oversight to our Partners and staff and ensuring excellent service is provided to our clients.
