D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP, is engaged in the practice of public accounting providing a wide variety of accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services. The Firm has offices in Utica, Rome, Oneida and Syracuse. They are pleased to announce several new hires.
Jared M. Maury was hired as a staff accountant working in the tax department out of the Utica, New York office. In his role, Jared will work on a wide variety of tax engagements, including preparation of tax returns and financial statements. He graduated from Excelsior College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and from Syracuse University with a Master of Science in Professional Accounting. Jared previously worked as a staff accountant at a local accounting firm and comes to us with 2 years of accounting and tax preparation experience.
Andrew T. Lazzaro, EA was hired as a manager working in the tax department out of the Syracuse, New York office. In his role, Andrew will work and manage a wide variety of tax engagements, including preparation of tax returns and financial statements. He is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Oswego with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Andrew was previously a tax manager at a local accounting firm and joins us with 8 years of experience in tax preparation.
Sheila D. Olney was hired as a senior accountant working in the audit department out of the Rome, New York Office. In her role, Sheila will be assigned to work on a variety of audit and accounting engagements. Sheila is a graduate of Fairfield University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree of Science in Accounting. Sheila was previously a senior audit associate at one of the Big Four accounting firms and comes to us with 4 years of audit experience.
