D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP, a leading public accounting firm in upstate New York, announces that Robert R. Ritz, CPA, CVA has been named Managing Partner effective January 1, 2020. D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP has offices in Utica, Rome, Oneida and Syracuse.
Mr. Ritz is a graduate of the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He has been with the Firm for 25 years and specializes in personal and business tax law and tax planning and return preparation. Along with being a New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). He provides accounting, income tax and consulting services to individual clients, small businesses, medical practices, unions and employee benefit plans.
Mr. Ritz is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). He is also the Treasurer of the Rome Community Foundation and has served as Past President of the Utica Chapter of the NYSSCPA.
In his role as Managing Partner, Mr. Ritz is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Firm. Responsibilities include providing guidance and oversight to our Partners and staff and ensuring excellent service provided to our clients.
